![]() ![]() Outlook on Windows & Mac will be updated soon with the simplified permissions UI, and at that time, they will reflect these same changes. Join or view the group in Outlook by selecting Browse Groups from the ribbon at the top of the screen. If not, follow the steps below to open these calendars in Outlook. If you are already a member of the Group, this may already show up in Outlook. The online archive shows up in the calendars list. Outlook for Windows users can view their archived calendar entries, no problem. We have policies in place to archive after 1 year. However, only the web client supports Full Access logins, so this note applies only to the web right now. Office 365 Groups can be used as a shared calendar which everyone in the group has access to. We have Office 365 in a hybrid environment, user mailboxes and archives are in Office 365. *Modern clients at time of writing this are Outlook on the web, iOS, and Android. ![]() Similarly, when you share a calendar, it saves the permission & sends an invite. When you create a meeting, it saves to calendar & sends invite. Sharing a calendar is considered a “save & send” action just like creating a meeting invite. So if you grant the user SendAs or SendOnBehalfOf, they will have the Share UI again. While this technically was allowed in the past, it was a loophole that broke sharing experience - permissions would be set but no sharing email was sent.įullAccess users that have either SendAs or SendOnBehalfOf permissions will still be to share a calendar. If a user has been granted FullAccess only, without SendAs or SendOnBehalfOf permissions, they will not longer be able to share the calendar anymore from modern clients*. I wanted to let you know that w e recently fixed a bug related to FullAccess & sharing a calendar.
